A gift to say sorry.

Yesterday I gave my friend Dan a ride to the local shopping mall because he wanted to buy a present for his mother. It was not her birthday or anything it is just that she had bailed him out of jail a week before when he got arrested for disturbing the peace. He felt really bad that his mother had to see him like this and really wanted to make it up to her. At first he wanted to buy her a nice dress, but he finally decided on some mother’s jewelry which was a cool thing because I was able to buy something for my mom and I got half off because of the amount of money that Dan spent. I still made him pay for gas.
