I found it to be a little pathetic when my brother got here and told us he bought custom rims and tires. I found it hard not to secretly judge him. Even after we went outdoors to look at them, I thought they were okay, but would not say they are great.
However, the next day, I was out driving and it suddenly hit me: all cars seriously do look exactly alike. Cars, while they’re pretty much meant for utilitarian purposes, make a statement about it’s owner. Whether it’s an old guy driving around in a Rolls Royce or a teenager who just got their license driving a baby pink Corvette, cars can’t help but make a statement. When I realized this, I realized what my vehicle says about me, thus the way that you decorate and treat your vehicle also has a lot to say about you. Suddenly, I realized the glamor behind custom rims.
So now I can see the appeal behind these custom chrome rims. Honestly, I started trying to find some that would fit my style. I never guessed I would like my car so much. I’m told that it fits me perfectly. Not each person will get to choose though. And by investing in custom chrome wheels, some car that you bought from some guy suddenly transforms into your car, instead of just some car. It’s clear to me now that both he and I value our individuality. That I completely respect.
